Regina:
We had a blast playing in Regina last weekend. We have always loved O'Hanlons, however, hanging out/playing at The German Club was right up our leisure-activity-loving alley.
Thursday, November 22, 2012
We have more HAG shirts printed! They are $15 each or $20 with a copy of one of our albums.
We will be playing in Regina Friday November 30th at O'Hanlon's with The Wildmen. Also we are hosting a pancake breakfast the next morning at The German Club. See the FB invite HERE.
Also you can download this track for FREE of ours:
It's almost our third year anniversary. That's three years of 'Haggin out. Holy!

lately
Thanks for the support everyone.
We had a wonderful time out east. We feel very lucky to be able to leave the prairies and still have successful shows.
We've uploaded an album on Facebook of our travels. You can check it out HERE.
We are officially sold out of our HAG shirt as well. We will be getting some more printed sometime in the next month or so as well as getting our new CD printed in better cases. We play Moose Jaw Summerfest Sunday August 19th at 3:45 pm. Other than that, we are going to lay low for 6 weeks or so and work on some new material. We are planning on playing Calgary and Edmonton in October as well as Regina.
And we play Co-op Fest on November 2nd at The Odeon.
Take care. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Some of us 'Hags will be adventuring out to rural Saskatchewan to work on a potato farm for harvest!

Planet S
look what Craigy S wrote about us last issue of Planet S Magazine:
Seahags: what a great name. Thankfully, the music behind the name is just as sweet. Well, maybe ‘sweet’ ain’t the right word. More like boot-stompin’, rootin’ tootin’, heart-breakin’ and ass-wuppin.’ Their EP Gospelexplores the powerful sounds of gospel music, without paying too much attention to the religious notions behind it. Sure, you’ve heard some of these traditional sounds before, but by adding haggard, fuzzy guitars and embracing the straight-up personality inherent in gospel music, they’ve truly made it their own.
Kisses!

lazy'n
We have one more day in the studio to get vocals down and then we are finished recording our full length. We are aiming for a July release so we can bring it across the country with us. We pool all our money we get from playing gigs to pay for our recording costs. Kayla is our treasurer. Our next goal is to buy a band vehicle (we out grew our mint-green 90's minivan). So if anyone has any leads on something that will drive across the country, fit 6 of us with all of our gear, let a 'Hag know.

pictures
I sometimes use my Dad's old Nokia camera from the 80's (the same one that shot all my family photos). I like how grainy the photos can look, but most of all I love the pictures that don't quite turn out or the photos that don't develop right:
The photos were taken at our video shoot. You can see the video HERE.
